WEKA FACHMEDIEN – best known for its electronics titles such as Markt&Technik, Elektronik, DESIGN&ELEKTRONIK, funkschau and many others will merge with CMP-WEKA Verlag GmbH & Co. KG on 1st July 2012, adding a number of titles including CRN to the WEKA FACHMEDIEN portfolio. Although this is unlikely to result in significant changes on a day-to-day basis – the two publishing houses have been working from the same offices – it reflects the strength of WEKA FACHMEDIEN, which must be a good thing for all their titles.
