Objective: To create a means of announcing Microchip products in a way that would supplement their press releases, and engage with new audiences.
Activities: Having worked with Microchip to identify an opportunity for news announcements, we developed a series of video newscasts, one per every product release. Each newscast has been created at 60 seconds or less, using a professional actress to convey only the key points, benefits & features, while leaving the technical details for the press release. In addition, the videos are re-branded for the use of Microchip’s distributors.
Results: In the first two years, Microchip has published 110 newscast videos and has over 55,000 views.
