Placing Reader Competitions Across European Titles


Client: Microchip

Objective: To increase awareness of Microchip’s development tools and generate quality leads.

Activities: As part of an ongoing PR campaign, Napier is responsible for placing a series of reader competitions in European electronics publications, to raise awareness of Microchip’s development tools, ensure positive coverage and generate a source of quality leads. In addition, Napier developed a website to streamline the management of these leads.

Results: The number of competitions placed in European titles has successfully increased year-on-year since 2002, and these competitions remain a highly effective way for Microchip to generate a significant number of quality leads, and generate positive coverage in many of the leading publications.
