NapWebBanner-(Telegraph)-SciVisum

Client: SciVisum

Objective: To raise awareness of SciVisum in the UK media.

Activities: On the day car disks were abolished in the UK, the DVLA experienced a major infrastructure crisis, which was immediately reported by the UK press. Napier identified this situation as an opportunity for website performance monitoring provider SciVisum, and were able to quickly develop and approve appropriate messaging for the media. Napier approached the press, first to underline that the client was impartial and an authoritative source for comment, and effort that was followed by quotes provided via email, underlining the more pertinent parts.

Results: In the initial discussion, it was established that The Telegraph would be the best national newspaper to approach, and through effective media relations, Napier were able to secure three paragraphs of quotes from SciVisum on The Telegraph online.
