CIE has announced that Neil Tyler will be joining the title as editor on the 10th Sept, replacing Dulcie Eliott who left in August. Neil has a background in both journalism and PR and has most recently worked for the Financial Times as the Editor for their magazine supplements. Bringing in an editor from outside the electronics industry is a brave move, and one that could involve a significant effort to ramp up his knowledge. We’re eagerly awaiting an announcement on Neil’s assistant, as we believe it’s important that the successful person does have credible experience in electronics.
