I’ve just got back from CeMAT 2008, a logistics exhibition in Hannover. Although Napier’s main focus is the electronics industry we have a number of clients in other markets, and it’s always interesting to observe the different approaches to marketing. Electronics companies will be pleased that they, unlike fork-lift companies, don’t have to cope with outdoor trade show stands; the first day of the show was cold, although their smiles did return as it warmed up during the week. Fortunately Moderne Industrie, who publish logistics title Materialfluss as well as Elektronik Industrie, were on hand during setup to provide everyone with some soup – what a great way to promote your magazine!
