ICC Media has decided to merge the print titles Boards & Solutions Magazine and Embedded Control Europe (ECE) in 2011. Clearly this is a move to manage the costs of pan-European distribution, and despite the two titles having a different focus and somewhat different readership, it makes a lot of sense.
Interestingly ICC Media will keep the digital versions of the two titles as separate publications. With minimal additional cost to separate the publications, it’s a great example of the flexibility of the digital format.
