Radio-electronics has added a news service to the site, providing a feed of “Up to the minute news about the electronics, telecommunications, RF and wireless industries.” I like the site, and this is a sensible move to increase content and drive more traffic to the site, although I think it’s important that the existing high-quality unique editorial is kept separate from the commodity news stories.
Radio-electronics is claiming some impressive traffic figures, and with new representation on the advertising side, I’d expect this site to become a key part of both the PR and marketing strategy for many communications companies.
