A new site, SW Innovation News, launched on the 10th February. I was excited to hear about this venture because Nick Flaherty, who does such a great job as editorial director of Silicon South West, is publisher and editor-in-chief of the new site. With its broader editorial brief, SW Innovation News is going to be an interesting read, and an ideal complement to Silicon South West.
The south west of the UK does a great job of promoting its technology companies, and Nick is one of the driving forces behind the region’s PR engine. I just wish that other regions in Europe could be as effective in promoting local innovation.
