Svet Elektronike named as an official media partner

National Instruments has named Svet elektronike as an Official Media Partner. Thorsten Mayer, Marketing Manager at NI commented, “Svet Elektronike was one of the very first partners National Instruments started to work with in Eastern Europe more than 10 years ago. During this time the magazine helped National Instruments effectively disseminate information about company, products, and technology as well as relevant messages to the electronics and industrial automation audience in Slovenia. As a long-term partner of National Instruments, we would like to recognize Svet Elektronike as an Official Media Partner in Slovenia.”
Although I’m sure that any publisher would rather have revenue than recognition, this is an interesting move. It shows a large American advertiser that believes in local publications in Europe, and it shows that the media in Eastern Europe can deliver results that meet NI’s demanding standards.
