ElectroniqueS has launched an online video advertising format that is placed just below the MPU on the right hand side of the website. Just like the other advertising formats on the site, the “videoscope” advert is paid for on a weekly or monthly basis and will be rotated with up to four other videos (one editorial and three other paid-for videos).
Although the physical size of the unit is smaller than the MPU above it, ElectroniqueS has priced the videoscope to be about 6% more expensive. With the inclusion of editorial videos in the slot, and the capability to post videos that would be much larger than the maximum file size for other advertising slots, however, this seems a reasonable approach.
Once the ad campaign is finished, the video will be automatically placed in their “Video Library” providing [limited] ongoing promotion for a year.
