I was really sad to hear the news that Bob Pease had died. His columns motivated me to move from design engineering into applications and eventually into marketing because they promoted products by making them fun. His approach was way ahead of its time, and his down-to-earth style represented the “authenticity” that many marketers are only just beginning to appreciate. It was particularly sad that he died so soon after Jim Williams.
