The new publication from Western Business Publishing, Controls, Drives & Automation magazine, has announced the appointment of Andy Pye as Consultant Editor. This is a move that is clearly designed to impress as Andy has an outstanding track record and brings instant credibility to the publication
Andy revealed a bit about the focus of the publication when he told me, “The control and automation field is facing many new challenges, with the current financial climate forcing a new look at manufacturing efficiency and energy consumption, while data security issues are impinging on the manufacturing sector to a greater extent than ever before. Innovation is the best way I know to keep manufacturing moving forward and maintaining profitability. So I’m looking forward to renewing contact with all the major industry players, meeting many new ones and reporting on all the latest innovations, issues and trends influencing this sector.”
The editorial team will be further strengthened in January 2012 when Charlotte Stonestreet, who has been on Western Business Publishing’s editorial team since 1999, will join as editor.
It’s great to see that Western Business Publishing has decided not only to invest in a new publication, but is also prepared to put their money into attracting great editorial talent
. These editorial appointments make me even more excited about the potential for this new title.
