There’s no doubt that we’re living through difficult economic times, but despite the challenges it seems our clients are achieving success. It’s a sign of the tough times that I often get asked by friends and colleagues from previous roles if I know of any jobs, so I’m particularly pleased that clients such as Panasas and Microchip are hiring.
I was particularly interested in the two Applications Engineer roles that Microchip has open at their impressive European HQ in Winnersh, UK. A little over 20 years ago, when I worked in distribution, I provided applications support for Microchip products, and the opportunity to create turnkey designs and demos for the customers of such an awesome company sounds very enticing.
Unfortunately I think my engineering skills are probably more than a little dated. If you’re a design or applications engineer, however, I’d definitely recommend checking out the vacancies at Microchip, Panasas and our other clients. Alternatively just send me an email and I’ll pass your details on to our clients that are hiring.
