The organisers of productronica announced that this year’s event was attended by 38,500 visitors – an increase of about 34% over the last time it was held in 2008. International visitors rose significantly, and represented nearly half (48%) of the attendees – an big jump from 2008 when Germans accounted for 61% of the visitors.
It wasn’t just the numbers that were good – the feedback from exhibitors was also positive. One of our clients commented, “A surprisingly good show given all the gloom and doom in the news. The number of enquiries we received was almost a record!”
It’s great to see shows doing well – and clients benefiting from exhibiting. Let’s hope this momentum will continue through to electronica in 2012.
