In 2011 DATE saw a 40% increase in attendance, an impressive result that has been maintained in 2012. DATE 2012 switched to Dresden, but this change of venue didn’t discourage visitors to the conference or exhibition. the conference continues to attract a wide range of nationalities, with more than 50% of the papers coming from outside Europe.
