Engineers sit in front of workstations for most of the day, so I don’t need to worry about them reading email on mobile devices, right? Wrong! We conducted research in partnership with the University of Chichester that showed a quarter of European electronics engineers are using mobile phones to access their email. Furthermore the engineers that use mobile email find the screen size a challenge when reading marketing emails and find direct emails more intrusive.
