Back in March I told you that Firmware planned to launch an English-language version of the magazine. It has now arrived, and is billed as "the magazine of the professional electronic engineers". The new digital publication is certainly impressive: its laid out so it’s easy to read on-screen and has some excellent technical content.

Of course the challenge is distribution. If Inware Edizioni, the publishers, can build a loyal subscriber base then this title could become one of the most popular pan-European magazines. The first two issues will be distributed to 30K+ subscribers, with circulation bolstered through a partnership with Belgium company Eurocircuits. Hopefully there will be other deals to get the publication into the hands of a more circuit design-orientated audience.

You can take a look at the publication at www.fwonline.net/magazine, and subscribe at mailing.fwonline.net.
