We are well and truly into trade show season now and whether we are helping our clients who are exhibiting or organising our own trips to the must see shows, what is clear is that industry shows, especially in the B2B markets are thriving. Take a look at our most recent post about our client IDTechEx

The 2016 UK Device Developers’ Conference was held at the Cambourne Belfry last week on the 27th and 28th April and played host to some of the UK’s most senior hi-tech engineers involved in the development of intelligent systems and devices. This year’s event, sponsored by Lauterbach, IDS and JTAG was co-located with H/WExpo 2016 covering Hardware Development, Test Instrumentation and Production.

This year’s conference covered topics such as the development of safety critical software, internet connected vehicles, interface design and device security as well as offering an exhibition space and a stream of presentations dedicated to hardware development and hardware testing.

Engineers from companies such as Rolls Royce and Panasonic attended to explore new tools and technologies and Conference Manager, Richard Blackburn said, “This 2016 event has been the best so far. We had a very strong agenda and a lot of industry support. The feedback has been very positive, it’s been a very rewarding couple of days.”

Fresh from the success of 2016’s event, the 2017 event is already looking bigger still with sponsors already pledging their commitment and conference organisers making plans for more workshops, more exhibitors to attract an even wider audience.
