A new initiative is bringing electronics professionals together through running, networking, and charitable fundraising. Founded by Nayl D’Souza, Mark Gradwell, Mike Green and Amélie Burgess, the Electronics Run Club (ERC) aims to create a fully inclusive community for people of all running abilities.

The club will organise runs alongside major industry events throughout the year, including Microelectronics UK, electronica, Southern Manufacturing & Electronics, embedded world, Hardware Pioneers Max, and PCIM. The initiative will offer attendees an opportunity to stay active just before or during busy exhibitions and conferences while meeting industry colleagues in relaxed and informal settings.

Beyond its event-based runs, the ERC will provide a platform for members to share training advice, motivate one another, build lasting professional connections and, when circumstances warrant, help raise money for charity, too.

To receive details of forthcoming runs and get involved, join the Electronics Run Club via LinkedIn.
