ITEM Publications are launching a European edtion of Interference Technology EMC Directory and Design Guide. Published as an annual reference book, it will have about 200 pages of EMI / RFI information, including technical information, details of standards, service providers and other useful information. ITEM has also decided to split the book into sections: 13 different country sections that will each be printed in the language of that country.
Structuring the guide in this way is unusual, but could prove to be a brilliant move. Using local language for each section will no doubt make the publication more attractive to engineers throughout Europe. I’m delighted (if a little surprised!) to see that it’s an American publisher who has come up with this approach to delivering pan-European content effectively.
