Device Developers Conference 2013I keep saying that it’s hard to run events in the UK, so it’s great to see that the first year of the UK Device Developers’ Conference has been a success. The event was held in three locations – Bristol, Cambridge and Manchester – and attracted 30 vendors and more than 170 engineers. Whilst not all the locations were as successful as others, I understand that exhibitors were generally very happy with the results of the inaugural events. I really hope that Energi-Tech can build on this initial momentum and continue to grow the conference.

Device Developers Conference 2013There’s no lack of ambition for the Device Developers’ Conference. “All in all, we feel that this first event was a success and we are looking forwarding to running it again in May 2014,’ Richard Blackburn, Event Organiser told me. “Many of the vendors have already offered sponsorship for next year’s event and many delegates have said they would come again. We have a lot of new ideas for next year’s content and we may look at running it in Scotland also.” I certainly wish the conference the best of luck!
