The organisers of productronica 2014 have announced that about 38,000 visitors from 83 countries attended the event. This is a slight fall in total visitor numbers from 2011, but the number of international visitors increased again. This year, over half the visitors (52%) were from outside Germany, with the Russian Federation, China and Turkey driving most of the increase.

It’s often easy to say that shows in Germany work well because it’s easier to get Germans to attend these events. productronica, however, is showing that a great event will attract visitors of many different nationalities.
