As part of the Manufacturing and Engineering Week, two new sector-specific events have been announced to support and celebrate the engineering and design engineering community.

Supported by leading titles in the sector including Electronics Weekly, EPD&T, Electronics Today, CIE, Electronics Sourcing and Electronic Specifier; the Design Engineering Expo and Engineering Expo will be launched as part of the week-long event celebrating the UK’s manufacturing and engineering sector, and will take place from the 8th– 9th June 2022.

The events aim to showcase the innovation and successes of the sectors, as well as providing a platform for professionals and suppliers to network and share future insights.

The Design Engineering Expo will focus on the challenges and innovations at the heart of the sector, covering topics from electronics, embedded design, through to testing. The event will cover practical advice on how to tackle current challenges, as well as supplier and technology showcases, and the latest innovations and insights to enhance supply chains and optimise future strategies.

The Engineering Expo will showcase the latest engineering innovations, technology and solutions that are driving the future of engineering in the UK. The exhibition will run alongside a conference, where speakers will discuss current challenges, and offer practical tips and advice. The event also offers visitors and exhibitors the opportunity to network and meet with professionals across all sectors and throughout the supply chain.

The Manufacturing Expo will also be taking place alongside the two events, providing manufacturing process and management professionals a place to network, stay up to date and hear from some of Britain’s best suppliers and technology providers in the manufacturing sector.

Here at Napier, we are always delighted when new events for the industry are launched. The increase in announcements for ‘in-person’ events is really positive for the industry, and we are looking forward to hearing what we are sure will be positive feedback from the events.
