Yahoo! has reduced the minimum bids for Yahoo! Search Marketing adverts. In the UK this means that bids can start from £0.05. For the electronics industry, where some specialist terms have few advertisers competing for a slot, this may mean a slight reduction in search advertising spend, but in reality we expect most important keywords to have sufficient bidders that this move will have little impact in practice.
