the Register has reported that Microsoft is imposing a limit of 10 recipients per email. At Napier we believe this is something that should concern marketers in the electronics sector: there is significant evidence that many engineers use Hotmail or other accounts to subscribe to email newsletters that are useful for their job. Although Microsoft have denied that there is a simple limit on the number of recipients, we believe that the free email services will tend to place more and more restrictions on incoming email, which will inevitably reduce deliverability of marketing emails in our industry.
